Reviews about Jawa (JAVA) 350
I bought myself a motorcycle JAVA 350. Model 638-5. transitional. From 6 volt to 12 volt. That is, there the frame looks like a 6-volt Java, and the engine and electric equipment are already like 12 volts. I miraculously acquired it, I was just lucky with both the price and the quality, which I was very happy about. At first, I got used to the device. I drove slowly, did not drive fast, endured cars and even a scooter overtaking me. But gradually it became easier to hold the steering wheel, it is already https://cars45.com.et/listing/honda/city possible to enter turns not at the first speed, but at the second and even sometimes at the third. And away we go, I mastered the motorcycle in about a month. And he brought me a lot of joy and incredible pleasure from a simple ride, even slowly, on some distant dirt road – it was all very pleasant and cool. I was extremely proud of my motorcycle. I rode it very often and everywhere. At first, the police stopped me all. Absolutely everything. I even almost turned on the turn to the right in advance when I drove up to the post. But I had everything in order with the documents – I specifically knew what would happen, so I prepared very carefully. Even the insurance was not expired, which surprised the cops especially. Some also climbed under the engine, looked out for the engine number to compare it with the number in those passports. Well, they couldn’t find anything illegal. Always let go. The truth was especially angry when they sniffed me, asked me to take off my helmet and "to breathe." It was not like this. Like I’m some kind of drunk. After this, I was even afraid to drink kvass, if on a motorcycle
I will go somewhere. Now, everyone knows me and no one stops me. But still, I drive very slowly, because at high speed the bike starts to throw from side to side. It becomes scary. But I don’t want to rush, I always try to go somewhere with a margin of time. At the moment I’m going to overhaul my iron horse, repress the crankshaft, it’s just not the season for travel now – winter is on the nose. After the overhaul and running going to go to the Crimea, on the coast. These are my dreams and plans for the future.

It all started with the fact that my younger brother bought a JAVA motorcycle. The model was JAVA-350-634. After that, watching how my brother daily rolled out his apparatus, started the engine and carried away into the distance with a loud bass roar, I also really wanted to buy the same or similar motorcycle. At first, I wanted to find a motorcycle brand IZH or JAVA, and I decided for myself that I would find the first one and it would be mine. I spread a rumor among my comrades, acquaintances, friends that I am looking for a motorcycle for myself – who knows where they sell it, tell me, help me find it. And so, they found me from an advertisement, an IZH motorcycle with a sidecar was for sale. The owner of the device and the motorcycle itself were not far from my place of residence, so without thinking twice, I take time off from work and go for an inspection. But as soon as the owner rolled the motorcycle out of the garage, I looked at it and immediately realized – no, I don’t want one for myself. Moreover, he was with a stroller, but why do I need a stroller? What hay to carry? I do live in the city. ))) And besides, I didn’t like the appearance either. In general, I refused to buy IZH and started looking exclusively for JAVA. After a while, a friend calls me, who lived near the Crimea itself, and says that they are selling nuclear weapons not far from him, the condition is good, there is a telephone. The owner lives in the village. Without thinking twice, I write down the phone, call up, and make an appointment. The place where the motorcycle was sold was far away, so I had to look for a car to take me there. And so, the owner of Java rolls out the motorcycle in front of me, puts it on the bandwagon, and
my breathing begins to quicken, because JAVA looked like a real beauty, as if it was completely new! There were no signs of rust anywhere! I was even surprised, how could such a beauty be in such a dead and poor village? Without thinking twice, I pay money for a motorcycle (fortunately, I got vacation pay, and it was almost enough, well, I borrowed a little more), we go to a notary, write out a power of attorney and that’s it! You can go home! For joy, I rode in Java like on a moped, because I felt trembling all over my body with pride, and plus, I was not used to such a powerful device – after all, before that I had never had motorcycles, and I only sat on my brother’s motorcycle twice ride. But, thank God, it was not very far to go home, about 100 km. And I drove in 2 hours, slowly, without incident. Even the police did not stop, which made me very happy. Because if they slowed down, I would probably faint from fear. After all, I had almost no experience at all. And I got it just recently. That’s how I got a wonderful device JAVA 350-638, a transitional model from 6 volts to 12. A wonderful device, I will never regret acquiring it. Now I have been driving it for 2 years. I ride it like a bike – very easy. The motorcycle is fast, powerful, comfortable in the saddle, and simply handsome in appearance! No tuning! I decided that I will forever leave it in its classic form and will only support this view! After all, this is already a very old model, almost a legend, these are no longer produced, and you will not see them on the roads anymore. Exactly
so maybe I fell in love with my apparatus. And you don’t need any expensive Japanese motorcycles, JAVA scooters, this is IT! Who traveled will understand me! This is a motorcycle for the soul, for the biker soul!

I love the Java 350 motorcycle! My husband and I bought a used motorcycle in 1998. I had to restore it, paint it, in general, brought it to a great view! We operate it seasonally for 6 months a year! We are satisfied with the motorcycle: it is easy to control, the motor runs silently. Look at its design: streamlined shapes, chrome parts, there are handles under the seat at the back, for which the passenger can freely hold on, and the shape of the seat is very comfortable, closed-type shock absorbers, there is a trunk box under the seat where you can easily transport spare parts, keys (for repairs on the road), oil. The tire design is great too! It is easy to drive, significant fuel consumption (compared to our domestic motorcycles), anti-theft (with the help of a key the steering wheel is fixed at an angle of 45 degrees), it will not cause you much trouble in maintenance and repair, fast takeoff, powerful and reliable engine. I’m happy with the bike! I think you will be satisfied with its quality if you decide to buy it for yourself!

When I was 14 years old, like all the boys, I dreamed of a two-wheeled friend – a motorcycle. Then I was already well versed in them and knew which model I needed. And I always dreamed about Java, of course, Izh Jupiter was also not bad, but Java was just a dream for me. I was looking for a suitable option for quite a long time, but one day a friend called me and said that one grandfather was selling an almost new Java 350 for ridiculous money for her condition – 5000 rubles! I immediately took the money and we went to my grandfather. He opened the garage and I was just stunned. It was really practically new. In general, I gave the agreed amount and went home already in ITS Java. The first trip left simply indelible impressions, excellent sound, obviously more thoroughbred than that of IZH, good pickup from the very bottom. The dynamics made me very, very happy, before I had to ride both on planets and on Jupiters, but Java is clearly more powerful, or the gear ratios are chosen more successfully. I drove on my Java for about 3 years, then I had to sell it, because I needed money urgently. She didn’t give me any particular problems, she mostly changed the spark plugs, and tightened the chain, in general, the technique was reliable. Now I am also thinking about buying a motorcycle for weekend trips, but I already want something modern, a Suzuki or a Honda. But this is still a dream. I have the warmest memories of Java 350! Sincerely, Maxim.

Honestly, as a child, I always dreamed of a current motorcycle, but I never bought it. Many factors simply affected, for example, the fact that many familiar owners of these motorcycles have been in serious accidents. There is even an old joke about this motorcycle: A call to the Java motorcycle factory – Hello, they are bothering you from the morgue. How many motorcycles have you sold today? Surprised voice replies- Today only three. In response, he hears an upset voice – Damn, another one is riding somewhere, tickets to the opera will have to be returned. It is not sad, but the fact is that every second owner of Java has been in an accident and not always with a good outcome. The thing is that the motorcycle is very light and powerful, so everyone wants to see what he is capable of. After all, Java is very resourceful and therefore, when hitting sand, clay, fine gravel, etc., it immediately breaks into a skid, hence the number of accidents. But let’s not wake up about the sad, let’s talk a little about the technical characteristics. The engine is two-cylinder, two-stroke, which, in principle, is not so much anymore, since strict proportions of oil and gasoline must be observed, otherwise the engine will not last long and properly. But if you keep the proportions, you can go fast enough, by the standards of her years. Therefore, Java has always been considered a sports motorcycle, and even the usual versions designed for riding with a sidecar were converted into a sports version. It used to be that having Java in your garage was, let’s say, "very cool", although many did not even drive them. The name of the motorcycle rattled
to the whole country, which characterized him well, and even if you now ask anyone if he knows that there is such a motorcycle, the answer is unambiguous. But if you still decide to buy Java, then it’s better to think carefully first.
